Lily Jurman is a photographer based in NYC.
As a native New Yorker, Lily appreciates and participates in the everyday hustle that defines New York. Having been surrounded by art since childhood, translating this hustle to artistry is not a new concept. Lily has participated in various classes at the International Center of Photography since high school, including the Image Makers program in ICP’s Teen Academy. Building upon this education, Lily took photography classes in college, and was employed as a student photographer for the Athletic Communications Department at her college. All of Lily’s experience with photography, through education and as a student employee at Oberlin College, has led to pursuing photography as a career. There is a particular interest in sports, nature, and lifestyle photography.
Currently, Lily is based in Boston. She is currently a graduate student at Boston University as a journalism major. Lily holds the role of Student Photographer for BU Today. This role involves photographing on campus events, as well as editing and captioning photos. These photos are used in the Scene at BU section of BU Today.
